French Holidays in Normandy

This charming detached holiday cottage is located in tranquil countryside with panoramic views over the Bocage, and is ideally located to explore this beautiful and historic region of France. The hillside town of Mortain, known for its historic abbey and cascading waterfalls is only a short drive away. Equally accessible is the ancient town of Domfront where cobbled streets lined with half-timbered houses are a reminder of the town’s 11th century origins. Avranches, a strategic location during World War II is only 45km from Romagny, whilst Normandy’s most famous landmark, Le Mont Saint Michel is an hour’s drive.

Visit the excellent markets in Mortain or St Hilaire du Harcouët, both 4k. The Barrage de Vezins (26k) has canoes, kayaks, pedalos etc & Mont St Michel makes a great day trip (40k).
